Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday morning March 15 and immediately isolated himself, he announced on Twitter while taking part in a visit to Rennes alongside of Prime Minister Jean Castex.
I just tested positive for Covid. In accordance with the health protocol in force, I isolate myself at the Quai d’Orsay for the time necessary and continue to work remotely.

“I have just tested positive for Covid”announced the minister in a tweet, a few minutes after Jean Castex revealed the information in a speech at the Rennes prefecture. “In accordance with the health protocol in force, I isolate myself at the Quai d’Orsay for the time necessary and continue to work remotely”added the 74-year-old French diplomat.
