The French cross-country championships are being contested all weekend at Les Mureaux in the Paris region. This Saturday, there was in particular the race for company teams. Among them, that of the Mayenne Farmers’ Club which is a regular in the undergrowth during the winter season.
The Mayennes have distinguished themselves in this race. On a course of 7km500, the runner from Lassay-les-Châteaux, Sylvain Barbe (master) came first ahead of his teammate, Damien Rossignol (senior) from Chailland. Sixth place for Tony Foulon (master) of Mayenne.
In total, this represents three titles: senior, master and team (with 11th place in Sebastien Gaisnon)! And an additional bronze medal for Tony Foulon in the masters category.
The Mayenne Farmers had already won the national title in the past. Eight times all the same but it had not happened since 2016.
