This 42-year-old man attacked his 39-year-old friend last Sunday, they had been dating for less than 3 months. She had been trying to cut ties for a week and had just sent him a breakup text because of these violent outbursts. She had even left her home in Montpellier, but he found her.
On Sunday around 6 a.m., he watched for her outside her parents’ home where she had taken refuge. As she was getting out of the car he asked her to talk, she refused. He broke the driver’s side window.grabbed her by the hair and went wild, he hit her with his fists and against the steering wheel, she managed to honk her horn. When a neighbor came out, he fled.
She has had broken nose from multiple bruises, she received a 10-day ITT. The man was arrested in a hotel in Lunel: a man to the record already full of acts of violence against women which earned him two convictions including one to 10 years in prison in 2009 and two years in 2020.
Tried in immediate appearance, he was sentenced to 4 years firm, he is again behind bars.
