The legendary American singer Bob Dylan, Nobel Prize for Literature in 2016, will publish a new book in November, his publisher, Simon and Schuster, announced on March 8. The Philosophy of Modern Songwhich will be released on November 8 in the United States, will be his first book since Chronicles, volume 1published in 2004. It will be published in France by Fayard editions.
The folk star began writing in 2010 and his new work includes, says his publisher, more than 60 texts, including artists such as Hank Williams and Nina Simone, and the art of composing texts and melodies.

Bob Dylan, who appeared on the New York scene in the early 1960s, has since sold more than 125 million albums around the world – and, at 80, continues his concerts with a current tour which is due to continue until in 2024. He had released his critically acclaimed 39th studio album in 2020 Rough and Rowdy Ways.
