A real relay between social services and partner associations which send them files to help people in need, the Sud Ouest Solidarité association is a structure born of a vocation: that of giving wood and coal to city dwellers for the heating. This vocation dates back to 1947, when the winter log was created by Jacques Lemoine. Since then, the idea of the founder of Sud Ouest has evolved and even transformed into Sud Ouest Solidarité. Christian Bonnet, General Delegate of Sud Ouest Solidarité, explains the different actions of this very active association and as close as possible to individual requests.
Sud Ouest Solidarité acts in many areas of life
In normal times, between 600 and 800 files are processed each year in defined areas such as heating and housing, professional integration and training, rare diseases and disabilities, students in distress, regional disasters. .. Currently, the team supports 3 to 4 hot files and accompanies other files as well. This charity redistributes 100% of its donations. Hosted by the Sud Ouest newspaper, it is also provided with an operating reserve each year, thus enabling it to pursue its mission. But South West Solidarity also calls on the generosity of the Girondins and Girondines.
At Sud-Ouest Solidarité, we know that together we are stronger.
In order to support Sud Ouest Solidarité, you can send them your donations by post to 23 quai des Queyries 33094 Bordeaux cedex or via the Hello Asso link.
