The price of mutuals having increased this year, members are looking for ways to save their health costs. Journalist Anne-Claire Le Sannpresent on the set of 19/20, presents some advice. “First thing: sort through your guarantees! There are the essentials: hospitalization and reimbursement of drugs, that we do not touch (…) But on the other hand, if you do not wear glasses, you do not need a high optical package”, she explains.
The journalist also advises not to hesitate to compete via online comparators. “In the end, you can save between 250 and 300€ per year on your health insurance”, with this system, says Anne-Claire Le Sann. The so-called mutual health insurance “responsible” also allows you tosave but they are a little more binding because they require respecting the classic care pathway. Finally, the journalist recalls that 7 million people can claim complementary health insurance. “It costs €1 per day for a family of 4 earning less than €25,600 per year, and it is even free for even more modest households”.
