Protesters showed up on Saturday to demonstrate near the Canada-US border. Some vehicles had then crossed the roadblocks erected by the police on 176th Street.

“The area near the border is still blocked by police on 176 Street and the collector roads. The border crossing remains closed for the moment,” the RCMP said in a press release on Sunday afternoon.
