The founder and CEO of the Delegatus lawyers’ collective, Ms.and Pascale Pageau, takes the reins of the board of directors of the legal clinic Juripop.
The main interested party said she was “very proud” to become the new president of the board of Juripop. “It is with enthusiasm that I join Juripop, an organization that has chosen to practice law differently. I share many values with Juripop and I am happy to support, as president, this great organization which is active around innovative and promising projects so that all people can assert their rights, regardless of their financial situation,” said Mr.and Pascale Pageau, in a press release.
The jurist, at the head of the Delegatus collective of lawyers, has received nearly twenty prizes and recognitions during her career. In particular, she obtained the title of Emeritus Lawyer from the Barreau du Québec and is a member of the Top 100 Canada’s Most Powerful Women – Trailblazers & Trendsetters Category.
“His appointment is timely, as Juripop wishes to develop its business model in order to offer affordable legal services to a greater number of people,” said the organization, which has been in business for nearly 13 years.
