Unlike in the last federal election, voters will have to briefly remove their masks by showing their ID. The accepted documents are health insurance card, driver’s license, Canadian passport, certificate of Indian status or Canadian Forces identity card. For citizens who do not have these documents, Élections Québec offers other means of establishing their identity.

Advance voting takes place on Saturday and Sunday October 30 and 31. A voting day was also added on November 6.

Other municipalities
To find out if a municipality offers other advance poll dates, in addition to Sunday, October 31, you must check with its returning officer. In addition to October 30 and 31 and November 6, a municipality can allow its citizens to vote in advance on Monday 1er November, indicates Élections Québec.
