“I saw the images…,” Roy comments, letting out a nervous chuckle. “Yeah… oh, yes…”

Tony Marinaro was among the first media personalities to shed light on the gravity of Guhle’s situation. During his podcast, he shared harrowing details about the injury that number 21 endured.
“It was a nasty cut,” Marinaro recounted to guests Craig Button and Brian Wilde. “He was losing a lot of blood. His foot was turning blue. He was in intense pain. They had to apply a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. There was blood everywhere on the stretcher. He was swiftly taken for emergency surgery at Montreal General Hospital.”
Roy refrains from confirming or denying these details when approached about them over the phone.
“The doctors did an outstanding job,” he expresses with gratitude. “Things could have escalated quickly. Right now, everything seems to be alright. We’ll just have to monitor his recovery closely.”
