This approach is understandable, especially given the numerous expansions available, which can sometimes lead to overlooking less engaging content packs.
Let’s dive right in: in the Create a Sim feature, players can now select the ghost status from the get-go—no waiting for a Sim to pass away. You can even opt to become a ghost from childhood! Additionally, players can choose their Sim’s cause of death from a range of options, including fire, drowning, starvation, or even an attack from a rogue poultry (because why not?). Players still have the freedom to customize their Sim’s outfits, which will take on a ghostly appearance.
This expansion introduces a fresh aspiration known as the ghost historian. Players must keep an eye on their ghost energy levels in the simology tab while in Life mode, taking breaks as necessary. These abilities can either be kind blessings to assist living Sims or eerie curses designed to frighten them. Your choices shape your ghostly journey; there’s no judgment here! Even in ghost form, your Sim still has needs, can embark on a career, and can enjoy a fulfilling romantic life with another ghost!
If your Sim wishes to savor life before moving on, the soul journey option in the Aspiration tab is available. Accessible from young adulthood, the soul journey is a list of desires set by your Sim through the computer or generated based on their experiences and personality. Fulfilling these desires leads to rewards, culminating in the ultimate prize: reincarnation. This wish list offers goals for living Sims while addressing unfinished business for ghosts.
Prepare for Your Legacy
If you sense your time is drawing near, consider drafting your will. You can create your will through a computer or by hiring an estate lawyer via phone, allowing for modifications at any point. Once initiated, the will will be conveniently stored in your Sim’s inventory. Players can then select their urn and plan the details of their funeral, including options like lighting candles, dancing, or mourning the departed.
