If the publication of his book-investigation into the abuses of private crèches has led to “an awareness” of the political class, journalist Victor Castanet explains in “La matinale”, Wednesday, that “it’s blocking” in the Macronist ranks.
Since its publication in mid-September, The Ogresthe investigative book on the functioning of private daycare centers by Victor Castanet, continues to make waves. The Senate will open a fact-finding mission on the subject, and the Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly is also investigating. “There is an awareness of a large part of the political world”notes the journalist and author of the book Victor Castanet, guest of “La matinale”, Wednesday October 9.
The author claims to have been “heard by most parliamentary groups” who have it “contacted”citing “Rebellious France, the Socialist Party, Europe Ecology The Greens, The Republicans”.
“There is a subject nonetheless, today when all the parties are mobilizing on the issue, the parties of the presidential camp” remained behind, however, notes Victor Castanet. “Not a word from Gabriel Attal”president of the Ensemble group in the Assembly. “Even though deputies have asked to hear me, for the moment, things are blocked”points out the journalist, referring to the Assembly Commission. Victor Castanet believes that one of the reasons for this blockage is that “the Bergé case makes one party uncomfortable” from the Macronist camp.
