A woman described as a “serial killer” was arrested and charged Friday, October 4, for three murders committed this week in Toronto and two other cities in Canada, local police announced. Sabrina Kauldhar, 30, was arrested Friday at a hotel in suburban Toronto. Around a hundred police officers were mobilized on this case, reports Radio-Canada on its site.

“She’s a serial killer.”said Bill Fordy, regional police chief in Niagara, one of the regions where the murders took place, which took place over three days, from Tuesday to Thursday. Sabrina Kauldhar is accused of murdering a 60-year-old woman in her Toronto home, a 47-year-old man in a Niagara Falls park and a 77-year-old man in a Hamilton parking lot.

According to Bill Fordy, the young woman targeted her victims randomly in Hamilton and Niagara Falls. But she did, however, know her first victim in Toronto, the Niagara police said on their site. The second victim was found in Niagara Falls thanks to emergency calls. His death was noted in the park itself. The last victim, a retired teacher, suffered from “significant injuries which appear to have been caused by stabbing”the police said in a press release. He later died in hospital.
