Canada Post is paying tribute to two Canadian music television stations with new stamps that will be unveiled next week.
The company announced Thursday that its latest stamps will feature MusiquePlus and MuchMusic for their impact on Canadian music.
Canada Post says the stations have allowed Canadians to meet their favorite musicians and established a platform for several generations of artists.
MuchMusic was launched in 1984, while MusiquePlus was founded two years later. Both stations were run in part by Moses Znaimer.
Canada Post will unveil the stamps during two events next Thursday in Toronto and Montreal in the buildings that housed MuchMusic and MusiquePlus.
