A man surrendered last Friday, after a shooting which left two seriously injured earlier in the week in the city center of Orléans, France Bleu Orléans learned from the Loiret prosecutor’s office on Monday September 30.

Tuesday September 24, around 3:30 a.m., two men aged 27 and 31 were found seriously injured by gunshots, one in a street in downtown Orléans, the other in a nearby apartment. Three days later, on Friday the 27th, a suspect went to the police, indicates the prosecution, after investigations carried out by the Loiret judicial police. During his custody, this man “admitted to being the sole perpetrator of the shooting, which he placed in the context of a brawl that occurred earlier in the evening.” He declares that he “defended against his attackers.”

He was indicted for attempted murder and placed in pre-trial detention, as part of a judicial investigation. The two victims, one hit in the head and the other in the torso, are still hospitalized in critical condition.
