A body buried in the Bois de Boulogne in Paris was discovered on Saturday, September 21, France Télévisions learned from the Paris prosecutor’s office. It was identified as that of Philippine, a 19-year-old student declared “worrying disappearance” since Friday.
The body was discovered during a search organized by Philippine’s family. The student had last been seen at Paris-Dauphine University at 2 p.m. She was due to go to her parents’ house in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.
The Paris prosecutor’s office confirmed to France Télévisions that the body was “formally identified late in the evening” as being that of Philippine, and that“an investigation into the charge of voluntary homicide has been entrusted to the criminal brigade”. “There is no questioning at this stage”specifies the prosecution, which affirms that “Investigations are continuing”.
