A suspect has been arrested after targeting Donald Trump on his golf course in Florida on Sunday, September 15.
Donald Trump was targeted again on Sunday, September 15, in Florida. Gunshots rang out near the golf course where the former president and Republican presidential candidate White House was playing a game. He is safe. The suspect then fled in a black car, but a witness noted the license plate, which allowed police to identify the vehicle. After a chase, authorities found him. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody. An AK47 rifle was found, as were two backpacks and video equipment.
The 58-year-old man arrested is named Ryan Wesley Routh and is a construction worker. He had clearly expressed his support for Ukraine on social media after the Russian invasion. Ryan Wesley Routh has a criminal record spanning several decades. The FBI has opened an investigation for “alleged attempted murder.”
