Corsica’s four airports are closed on Thursday evening, September 12 due to the bad weather conditions affecting the island, reports France Bleu RCFM. Since 6:40 p.m., all evening flights scheduled to depart and arrive in Bastia, Ajaccio, Figari and Calvi have been canceled.
The decision was made due to unstable weather conditions. Corsica is on yellow alert for wind and storms, with gusts of up to 140 km/h.
