Paracycling | Silver for Canadian Nathan Clement in time trial

(Paris) Canadian cyclist Nathan Clement won the silver medal at the Paris Paralympic Games.

The 29-year-old from West Vancouver, B.C., finished second in the men’s time trial.

Clement held the second fastest time for most of the race, behind the eventual Chinese winner.

Clement competed in the swimming events at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, before making the jump to paracycling.

The representative of the maple leaf is the reigning world champion in the T1-2 category, in which athletes use three-wheeled bicycles for greater stability.

He brought Canada a fourth medal in paracycling in Paris, after the three bronzes won in the track events.
