MC Gilles becomes a columnist at Coops de l’info

After losing his microphone at 98.5 Montreal, MC Gilles goes into writing. The host joins Les Coops de l’information as a columnist.

According to our information, Dave-Éric Ouellet, aka MC Gilles, will write articles in which he will share his passion for the regions of Quebec and the people who live there. His first column should appear on Saturday, September 7. His texts will be published every two weeks, we can read in an internal note.

The Information Coops bring together newspapers The Sun (Quebec), The Tribune (Sherbrooke), The Voice of the East (Granby), The Law (Gatineau/Ottawa), The New List (Three Rivers) and The Daily (Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean).

Speculation surrounding MC Gilles’ professional future has been rife since he was fired from 98.5 Montréal in the spring. Rumours had him heading to QUB, Quebecor’s radio station. This fall, he will return to his position alongside Jean-René Dufort on the show Infoman on ICI Télé. Last season, he also appeared on Everyone is talking about it in the king’s jester’s seat.
