A 19-year-old man was found killed in the street this Sunday morning in La Croix-en-Touraine (Indre-et-Loire), after spending the night in a nightclub in the town, reports France Bleu Touraine.
According to information from France Bleu Touraine, from concordant sources, the 19-year-old man was stabbed several times near a nightclub, Le New Vegas, around 5:45 a.m. The man who stabbed him fled after attacking the victim. Contacted by France Bleu Touraine, the manager of the establishment, Nicolas Brouant, assures that no altercation occurred between the two men inside the nightclub. “They didn’t go the same way”he specifies.
In a press release this Sunday evening, the public prosecutor of Tours, Catherine Sorita-Minard, explained that the Tours public prosecutor’s office was informed of the death of this young man around 7am this Sunday morning. “The victim had several wounds to the abdomen, chest and back, as well as bruises.”she wrote. “An autopsy will be performed tomorrow [ce lundi]” and “toxicological analyses and anatomopathological examinations were ordered”.
The prosecution also said that an investigation has been opened into “voluntary homicide”entrusted to the research brigade of the Amboise gendarmerie. “Witnesses have been heard, others will be heard very soon, technical investigations are underway (telephony, video, analysis of traces and clues)”continues the prosecution, which explains that this Sunday “the perpetrator(s) of the acts have not been arrested.”
