Hezbollah and Iran ‘forced to retaliate’ against Israel, says Hassan Nasrallah

In a speech broadcast live on Tuesday, August 6, Hassan Nasrallah said Hezbollah would retaliate “alone or as part of a unified response from the entire axis” resistance movement, led by Tehran and which brings together its allies in the region. Palestinian officials say 12 dead in two Israeli raids in the occupied West Bank. The United States says it is working to avoid an escalation. US President Joe Biden held an emergency meeting on Monday regarding THE “threats to Israel and US troops in the region posed by Iran and its affiliated groups”according to the White House. At the end of this, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken assured the press that the United States was working “day and night” to avoid an escalation in the region.
