A pedestrian in his fifties is in critical condition Monday after being hit by the driver of a “pickup-type” vehicle, according to emergency services. The incident occurred in Longueuil, around 11:20 a.m., on Payer Street, between Jarry and Cummings streets, right next to Gérard-Camel Park.
The victim was taken to a hospital shortly after the accident. Paramedics found the victim unconscious. “We fear for his life,” the Montérégie Ambulance Technicians Cooperative told the Duty.
