Hugo Auradou and Oscar Jégou, accused of sexual violence in Argentina, await their appearance in court on Thursday, July 11. The plaintiff’s lawyer denounces terrible violence.

What happened on the night of Saturday 6 to Sunday 7 July, in the hotel in Mendoza, Argentina? For the first time, the plaintiff’s lawyer, Natacha Romano, has decided to speak out. She describes a scene of rare violence. “They immediately grab her, throw her on the bed, start undressing her and start to beat her savagely with their fists, the bruise from which is still visible on her face.”she says.

“They suffocate her to the point where she feels like she’s going away. Once she can’t fight back anymore, she has no chance of escaping.”continues the lawyer. According to her, the ordeal lasted several hours. “She has traces of bites, scratches, blows on her breasts, on her legs, and she has marked ribs on her back,” explains Natacha Romano.

The two players deny the accusations outright. According to their lawyer, the sexual relations were all consensual. Arrested on Monday, July 8, Hugo Auradou and Oscar Jégou are due to undergo DNA sampling this Thursday, July 11 in Mendoza. If the facts are proven, they face between eight and 20 years in prison.
