The Blues are there. The French XV, largely revamped and rejuvenated, won without a hitch in Argentina (28-13), Saturday in Mendoza, a first since 2016. After a timid start to the match, the Blues, without their key players who left their place to inexperienced teammates (24.5 years old and 7 caps on average), were able to free themselves up to score three tries, by captain and scrum-half Baptiste Serin (36th) then by center Antoine Frisch (46th) and winger Théo Attissogbe (67th). Better still, the Blues were able to resist the Argentinian demolition, while setting up their game: as a result, the Pumas were limited to two tries, those of hooker Julian Montoya (61st) and center Matias Orlando (78th).

These budding Blues also, and above all, showed some great things, starting with center Antoine Frisch, in all the good offensive and defensive moves for his first cap. Also worth noting are the great performances of Third lines Jordan Joseph, invaluable for his work, and Lenni Nouchi, efficient in his tackles, or even pillar Georges-Henri Colombe, overpowering and dominating. Enough to see life through rose-tinted glasses for the Blues.
