Launched on the occasion of the 50the Hip-hop’s anniversary last year, Harlem of the North’s Block Party returns for a second year to Vinet Park on August 3 and 4.
Ghostface Killah, the most prolific member of the Wu-Tang Clan, will perform on the evening of August 3. The following day, renowned DJ Whoo Kid, who has long accompanied 50 Cent, will add an exclamation point to the festivities.
Talented local artists will be performing throughout the weekend. Raccoon, Fléau Dicaprio, Chung, Monk.e, Loe Pesci and Maky Lavender will be just a few of the highlights. MPP, an 11-year-old beatboxer, will also be showing off his talent. Veterans Cyrano de Montréal and Dice B will be providing entertainment.
In addition to music, the event presented by NatyfTV gives pride of place to visual arts, Afro-Quebec cuisine and activities for young people.
