Several rallies were held this Friday in support of the 12-year-old girl, victim of an anti-Semitic rape. It was in Courbevoie that the gathering was the largest to condemn this act.
On the faces, the same emotion, the same seriousness is present in everyone’s minds, this 12 year old girl raped because she was Jewish, last Saturday. This Friday morning in Courbevoie (Hauts-de-Seine), dozens of people gathered in solidarity with the young victim. A rally at the call of the mayor of Courbevoie. “To the horror of the gesture was added the infamy of the word: anti-Semitism.”
In the crowd, many people from the Jewish community expressed their concern. “My children wonder if they should talk about their beliefs,” worries a mother. The representative council of the Jews of France is calling for a start. The ordeal of this little girl affects far beyond the Jewish community. The inhabitants of Courbevoie must meet on Sunday to once again express their solidarity.
