I have a 2022 Acura TLX A-Spec SH-AWD with 32,000 km. I do around 18,000 km per year. I’m considering buying the car at the end of the lease. The residual value is $30,000 plus fees of $596. Is this a good deal or should I re-lease a new car they are offering me now for the same monthly payment? This is my fifth Acura and I’ve never had a problem.

Equivalent monthly payments are tempting. Please note, however, that the market value of your vehicle on the used market is approximately $45,000. So a good deal for whom? For your dealer or for you? You decide. That said, from an ecological point of view and considering the low mileage traveled, we encourage you to keep your current vehicle.

I would like to buy a sports car soon. I looked at a 2019 Corvette Z06 convertible with manual transmission. I also fell in love with the 2022 Cadillac CT5 Blackwing manual. Which one would you suggest?

Since you have to choose, the Cadillac appears to be the best option. For what ? Because of its rarity (it will certainly find itself in the sights of collectors in a few years), its practicality and its quality of execution (finish, materials).

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
I live on farmland in the middle of dirt roads. My return to the land obliges me to protect the environment. I don’t travel much distance, sometimes to Montreal, 200 km from my home. I’m looking for a hybrid or 100% electric vehicle, but I’m leaning towards hybrid technology, so as not to stress about range during my trips to Montreal. I would like a solid, 4×4 vehicle for the harsh winters of the countryside and capable of towing a small trailer. I’m not a fan of gadgets or great luxury. I like the money savings and reliability best. For me, a car is to get me from point A to point B. Your suggestions?

The Toyota RAV4
I want to replace my RAV4 in spring 2025 and I absolutely want to have it on gasoline. A representative told me that I have one week to order a 2024 model and that Toyota will no longer make a gas RAV4 in 2025. Two other dealers don’t seem to know about this. Who is right ?
