The final stretch before the vote. In politics, as in sport, it’s a bit the same instructions for the majority: give everything in this final sprint that begins: last big meeting here, last campaign posters there. Objective: to show the mobilization of the bench and the back bench of Emmanuel Macron’s troops.

Proof of this is with the new poster of Young People with Macron! (Jam), which Franceinfo was able to discover in preview, which is now based on the image of the candidate, Valérie Hayer, but also now of the Head of State himself.

On a yellow and orange background, with Valérie Hayer and Emmanuel Macron in black and white in the foreground, we can read the new slogan: “Europe is us! June 9, one day, one round“.

This new “punchline” resonates like a warning to Renaissance voters for a start, which is slow to be felt: despite a certain optimism, which even borders on denial in the majority, this campaign has never taken off: Valérie Hayer, the candidate chosen by Emmanuel Macron, is still unknown to the general public, stuck at around 15-16% in the polls, far from Jordan Bardella’s National Rally, and closely followed by Raphaël Glucksman and the Socialist Party list.

The other candidates are also pinned in the leaflet which accompanies the poster “Europe is us! But not them…“: Valérie Hayer, Jordan Bardella, Raphaël Glucksmann and François-Xavier Bellamy are the subject of a comparison “for or against”, “since 2019” on a common economic recovery plan in Europe, women’s rights, the law European climate, the asylum and migration pact and military support for Ukraine If everything is green for the Macronist candidate, everything is red for that of the RN.And it will still be us tomorrow!“, citing some major continental projects to come, such as the “European rail pass”, the protection of abortion or the “European culture pass”.
