931 police custody in three weeks in the Paris metropolitan area, according to prefect Laurent Nuñez

In three weeks of “XXL square net” operations in the Paris metropolitan area, 931 people were taken into police custody, reported Friday April 19 on France Inter, the prefect of Paris, Laurent Nuñez. Around fifty weapons were seized and 21 businesses and drinking establishments were closed, specifies the territorial representative of the State.

The police also “carried out numerous security operations”notably “in the stations” And “in places where there was a lot of street vending”, adds Laurent Nuñez. He greets “an operation carried out with great efficiency” in Paris, in Hauts-de-Seine, Val-de-Marne and Seine-Saint-Denis.
