As the European elections approach on June 9, franceinfo Talk is moving its studio to the heart of the European Parliament. Meet Ludovic Pauchant alongside nine MEPs to discuss themes related to the environment, defense, agriculture and even immigration.

In a month and a halfFrench citizens will have to go to the polls to elect their 81 European deputies. THE elections will be held from June 6 to 9 in the 27 Member States of the European Union.

For this election, MEPs are elected for a mandate of five years, each European country elects a number of deputies according to the size of its population. For the most populous member states, like Germany or France, these countries have respectively 96 and 81 MEPs. Conversely, Malta, Cyprus and Luxembourg have 6 deputies for each of them.
