It was Yvon Langevin’s daughter who informed TVA Nouvelles of the death of her father in a hospital in Acapulco yesterday.
According to her, he had medical complications linked to injuries inflicted by projectiles after the attack on him last Sunday in his condominium.
She claims the hospital did not have the blood needed for blood transfusions to keep her 82-year-old father alive.
On the other hand, she is in communication with friends of the octogenarian in Mexico who are taking steps to recover the remains and repatriate them to Canada in the coming days.
TVA Nouvelles contacted the Acapulco police. We do not know if the investigation is underway in order to trace the two alleged perpetrators of the murder.
