The health situation linked to the Covid-19 pandemic continues to be tense in France, according to figures from Public Health France, published Sunday, November 7. 8,547 positive cases were identified in 24 hours, against 6,329 last Sunday and 7,230 cases are recorded each day on average, an increase of 23.4% in one week.

France has 6,709 people hospitalized, including 1,101 in intensive care. A week ago, 6,572 people were hospitalized, including 1,046 in intensive care. 20 patients have entered intensive care in the past 24 hours (they were 20 a week ago) and there are 100 new hospitalizations (against 20 a week ago), again according to data published by Public Health France. 10 people died in 24 hours in hospital, reports Public Health France against 12 a week ago.
