The Paris police headquarters reported a total of 68 arrests in the night from Saturday to Sunday, on the sidelines of the final of the Football Champions League which was held on Saturday evening at the Stade de France, in Saint-Denis ( Seine-Saint-Denis), between Real Madrid and Liverpool.

Among those arrested, sellers of counterfeit tickets near the stadium. One of them had about fifty counterfeit notes on him. Prior to the match, in Saint-Denis, jostling and crowd movements occurred as fans without tickets, or with fake tickets, tried to break through the screening points to enter the stadium. The police intervened and calm returned. These incidents delayed the start of the match by 36 minutes.
According to the prefecture, the dispersal of spectators and supporters in the evening from the Stade de France, or the two fan zones, took place calmly. The first fan zone, in Saint-Denis, welcomed 4,000 Spanish supporters with tickets. The second, located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, contained 30,000 English supporters.
The firefighters intervened several times in the evening, for light care, not requiring support. 6,800 police and gendarmes have been deployed by the Prefecture to secure the area around the stadium and the two fan zones, located in Paris and Saint-Denis.
