531 new cases of COVID-19 in Quebec

Quebec is reporting 531 new cases of COVID-19 and four additional deaths on Monday.

Of the new cases, 332 were people who had not been vaccinated or received a single dose less than 14 days ago, 15 had only received a single dose at least 14 days ago and 184 had received a second dose at least seven days ago.

The provincial death toll now stands at 430,395 people infected and 11,522 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

On Monday, 225 hospitalizations were reported, a drop of two compared to the day before. Of these patients, 48 ​​are in intensive care, a decrease of two.

Twelve people entered the hospital on Sunday. Nine of them were not vaccinated or had only received a single dose less than 14 days ago and the other three had received a second dose at least seven days ago. Only one person entered intensive care and had received a second dose of the vaccine at least seven days ago.

A total of 22,006 samples were taken on November 6.

Regarding vaccination, 4,195 doses were administered in Quebec in the last 24 hours.
