The decorated walls move in 3D under the dumbfounded eyes of Marlène Laroche and the wise gaze of Joy Legay, CNRS researcher for the National Center of Prehistory in Périgueux, technology at the service of research.
The researcher can thus establish precise lines with software which allows the wall to be moved in all directions (up, down, in front, behind) and as much as necessary. Operation which would prove impossible on site, the walls being fragile and subjected to an expertise which must be relatively fast, sometimes the researchers are far from the objects of their studies and cannot appreciate all the details, with the 3D one goes everywhere, or almost … Magic and practical!
