382 kilos of cannabis pollen seized on the A20, the Romanian driver tried in September

The facts took place ten days ago. During a check on the A20 motorway, Saturday June 11, Limoges customs stopped a vehicle with a trailer registered in Romania. It is supposed to transport pallets of paper towels from Portugal to Paris.

The control does not go as planned, because the driver, who indicates that he wants to unload his load in the Ain, seems particularly worried. Customs officers then carry out a thorough inspection of the trailer. In the middle of the pallets of paper towels, are the 382 kilos of cannabis pollen, positioned in 10 Moroccan suitcases.

Tried in immediate appearance in September

The Romanian driver was placed in customs detention and handed over to the gendarmes. His judgment in immediate appearance before the Criminal Court of Cahors is scheduled for September, the driver of the trailer vehicle having requested a delay to prepare his defense.

Already at the end of May, the Limoges brigade had seized 42 kg of cannabis resin in a truck, under the trunks of a trailer.
