36th edition of the triathlon in Dijon at Lac Kir: more than 380 participants

End of the 36th edition of the Dijon triathlon this Sunday, May 29 at Lake Kir. Three hundred and eighty-one men and women exhausted themselves biking, swimming and running. The best time on the men’s side is signed Matthew Bolzer. It took him 3 hours 56 minutes and 20 seconds to swim 1,900 meters, cycle 90 kilometers and walk 20 kilometers. In women, it is Justine Mathieuxalready on the top step of the podium in 2019, which achieved the best performance in 4 hours 22 minutes and 27 seconds.

Ready to go

But for most competitors, regardless of ranking, the main thing is to have surpassed oneself. Manuel is 38 years old. Coming from Luxembourg with several colleagues, this executive from the banking sector ends the race sated, but happy and ready to set off again.

Training over tens of kilometers several times a week

A few meters further, Christelle recovers from her efforts apple pie well in hand and well in the mouth. This 47-year-old Dijonnaise traveled 25 kilometers around Lake Kir, nothing but very usual for this training agency manager. She trains several times a week over equivalent distances, but this enthusiasm for running is very recent.

No way for this participant to complain, smiling, she says she is very satisfied with her performance.
