EWhile waiting to know what measures will be taken exactly in France and Germany to curb the spread of the virus, the government is opting for a reinforced vaccination pass model, called the “2G +” system. The explanations, from Berlin, by Laurent Desbonnets.

“It is now the obligation not only to be fully vaccinated, but in addition to present a negative test carried out the same day”, summarizes the journalist Laurent Desbonnets, live from Berlin. He recalls that this is already compulsory to enter restaurants, in certain regions in Germany, and also in discotheques. “It will be compulsory from tomorrow in Berlin in theaters or cinemas, and all establishments that wish can already impose it”, he explains.

This rule was already imposed a few weeks ago by some Christmas markets. “It’s hard to say if this 2G + rule is effective in limiting the transmission of the virus”, indicates the journalist. One thing is certain, however: for the past ten days in Germany, there has been a marked decrease in the number of new cases.
