After the death of three men shot dead in Marseille this weekend, the prosecution announces on Monday the opening of an investigation for “intentional homicide in an organized gang and association of criminals with a view to the commission of a crime” . The judicial police are in charge of the investigations.

On Saturday October 1, a 21-year-old man was the victim of intentional homicide on Avenue Camille Pelletan in the 3rd arrondissement of Marseille, shot dead by the passenger of a scooter. The victim was known to the justice services and had been convicted of drug trafficking in January 2021. The next day, Sunday October 2 at 8:55 p.m., two men aged 28 and 29 were also victims of a intentional homicide by firearm, also in the 3rd arrondissement. One of the victims was known to the police.

At this stage of the investigations, no link has been established between these two cases, specifies the prosecution.
