A 22-year-old man admitted to the murder of another man, also 22 years old, in L’Isle-d’Abeau in Isère, reports France Bleu Isère on Thursday August 25. The suspect had himself contacted the gendarmes and indicated the location of the victim’s body, on the night of Wednesday to Thursday.
Arrested and placed in police custody, the alleged murderer explained that he went armed to an appointment with his victim in Villefontaine, before shooting him twice. He then shot him a third time, this time at L’Isle-d’Abeau.
According to the Vienna public prosecutor’s office, the man explained his gesture by “the regular humiliations that the victim subjected him to, in particular during an altercation that took place” Tuesday August 23, specifies France Bleu. The alleged murderer must be presented this Friday to an examining magistrate of the criminal center of Grenoble. An investigation for intentional homicide was opened by the Vienna public prosecutor’s office.
