In June 2019, the New York Yankees swept a two-game series against the Boston Red Sox at Olympic Stadium in London.
The St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs were also scheduled to play there, in June 2020, but that was canceled due to the pandemic.
Major League Commissioner Rob Manfred and London Mayor Sadiq Khan announced the creation of the MLB London Legacy Group on Monday.
On July 9 this year, Major League Baseball plans to host a home run contest at Crystal Palace Park, London.
