As part of its “I like working downtown” initiative, the Chamber unveiled on Monday the six artistic projects that will benefit from its financial assistance. They will be set up over the next few months in several places frequented by downtown workers.

“These six new artistic installations will enhance the vibrant character of our downtown and the experience offered to workers,” said Michel Leblanc, president of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, quoted in a press release.

Creations from the organizations MU, Aire Commune, LNDMRK and Moment Factory are notably part of the selection. More details on the new projects will come over the next few weeks, the statement read.

It was with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation that the Chamber launched the “I like working downtown” initiative in 2021 to increase traffic in the city’s downtown area, hard hit by the pandemic.
