19 people in court

Thirty people were arrested Monday in the Val-de-Marne during the dismantling of a major drug trafficking. Nineteen, aged 18 and 31, were brought to justice for indictmentsaid the Créteil prosecutor’s office on Friday.

One hundred and eighty police officers took part in the operation

Monday, during an operation described by the public prosecutor Stéphane Hardouin as “exceptional in its magnitude“, 180 police officers dismantled a network of cannabis and cocaine traffickers in Créteil. The traffickers got their supplies from Belgium and the Netherlands.

Pre-trial detention requested for 17 men

Judicial information is open in particular for “drug trafficking (acquisition, possession, transport, offer or transfer), illicit importation of drugs, complicity in drug trafficking, participation in a group with a view to preparing an offense punishable by 10 years in prison“, said the prosecution.

The public prosecutor has required of remand for 17 men. He is asking for judicial review for the last two.

At the same time, fines and a six-month ban on staying in Seine-Saint-Denis were imposed on sellers. Buyers were also sanctioned.
