1,600 construction sites stopped, to the chagrin of customers

Their life project is gradually turning into a nightmare. For thousands of future owners who had trusted Maisons Phénix for the construction of their new home, it’s a cold shower. The Geoxia group, owner of these Maisons Phénix, was placed in liquidation last month. 1,600 construction sites are therefore at a standstill in France with walls without roofs, simple concrete slabs or even still virgin land stopped in their tracks.

“It’s a lot of disappointment, but mostly hate“, confides Florian Hinault whose construction of his house in Saint-Masmes, in the Marne, has been stopped. Confused customers who have organized themselves as a collective to find solutions and help each other.It allows you to feel less alone and to be supported“, admits Lolita Martinho, who is waiting for a home in Fismes (Marne). The solution should come from insurance, supposed to guarantee the end of the work, but the delays could be substantial.
