“1:15 p.m. on Sunday”. The soap opera of the French – France 2 – August 14, 2022

As part of its documentary series “Le feuilleton des Français” (2021-2022 season), the magazine “1:15 p.m. on Sunday” (Twitter, #1:15 p.m.) traveled to several French regions for this new episode by Julie Darde and Cyril Zhâ. Head to Merdrignac, in the Côtes-d’Armor department, where Gaëlle and her daughter have just welcomed Olena and her children Maxime and Katia, aged 10 and 6, into their home.

The family fled the bombings of the Russian army on Mykolaiv, a port and industrial city in southern Ukraine. The “13h15” accompanied Maxime and Katia for their first day of school in France. And then, detour via the Ardèche town of Vinzieux, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, where a party was organized to raise funds for Ukraine under the supervision of Hugo, France’s youngest mayor.
