For its series “The French soap opera” (2023-2024 season), the magazine “1:15 p.m. on Sunday” went as close as possible to the French, to the heart of their daily lives.
For eleven seasons now, “The French soap opera” of “1:15 p.m. Sunday“(X, #1:15 p.m.) sets out to meet citizens and recount their daily lives, the good and bad times they involve, delivering striking testimonies.
For this new issue, the “1:15 p.m. on Sunday” teams decided to focus on the impact of global warming on our everyday heroes. If the mildness of recent months suits some, it is a real danger for many professions.
Melting ice, Indian summer, purchasing power…
David is a helicopter pilot supporting high-mountain rescuers, and he is going to discover a small lake, linked to the melting of the ice, near the Mont-Blanc massif.
The mildness and the Indian summer bring happiness to some, like Milena the salt worker, who had a very good salt harvest this year.
Purchasing power is a concern that is still present in the daily lives of the French. Valérie is a hairdresser at home in Cher and she is well placed to feel these restrictions: lThe first budget on which the French restrict themselves is that linked to care and aesthetics.
A report by Marion Banchais and the “13h15” team.
