As part of its unpublished documentary series “The Disappeared” in three episodes, the magazine “1:15 p.m. on Sunday” (Facebook, Twitter, #1:15 p.m.) returns to the incredible enigma of the Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès affair, this husband and father suspected of having killed five members of his family in April 2011, in Nantes (Loire-Atlantique).

How could he disappear? Where is the murder weapon? How did he plan his escape? Could he be helped? In October 2019, many believed in the epilogue of this affair… but a peaceful pensioner was confused with the most wanted man in France, who remains untraceable today.

Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès andis he still alive?

Time passes and the quest for truth remains. The “1:15 p.m.” went to meet close friends of the number one suspect in the “Nantes killing”.

The bodies of his wife Agnès and his children Arthur, Thomas, Anne and Benoît were found buried in the garden of the family home. Some are convinced that he is still alive…

A report by Pauline Dordilly, Anne-Sophie Martin, Henry Desaunay and Anthony Santoro.
