Oh mon dieu, celui-ci m’a brisé le cœur !! Je n’avais pas réalisé à quel point j’étais investi, mais cette série m’a pris dans la peau. Je veux dire, il s’agit de chats et nous savons tous que je suis une folle de chats. Mais pour être honnête, je ne m’attendais pas à être aussi investi parce que je ne peux généralement pas entrer au collège parce que cela semble trop juvénile. Mais, bien qu’il s’agisse de MG, cette série est assez complexe. Tout y est : secrets, mensonges, trahison, loyauté, leadership, amour, amitié et valeur familiale. Même la mort.

Il y avait aussi de jolis petits rebondissements là-dedans – vous pouviez les voir venir à un kilomètre et demi à cause des allusions géantes et des préfigurations douloureusement évidentes, mais cela constituait toujours une excellente intrigue. (voir spoiler)[It was easy to guess that the lost ThunderClan kits belonged to Bluestar, and that Tigerclaw was bad news and was plotting with Brokentail. But I still enjoyed reading about it!

I freaking cried when Silverstream died. I was shocked when she said she was going to have Graystripe’s kits, and I never saw it coming that she would die during birthing. That part got me bad! I was also sobbing at the end when Graystripe decided to leave and join RiverClan with his kits. The loss of Fireheart’s best friend and everything that entailed just broke my heart into little pieces! It reminded me of the end of The Fox and the Hound *sobs*

I was also incredibly surprised to find that I was affected by Brokentail’s death. He was horrible, yes, but I still cried. Mostly I was just upset on behalf of Yellowfang, because I love her and it was such a hard decision for her to make. That scene was so heartbreaking! Poor Yellowfang 🙁 (hide spoiler)]
