Why throw away your old mixer, your outdated PC, when you can repair them or at worst get some precious spare parts? In the Soudé workshop located south of Lyon (Rhône), we breathe new life into objects that no longer work.

Clémence, 13, went to the Soudé workshop to try to repair her portable speaker. In the workshop, thousands of tools are available to everyone. An impressive stock, looking like bric-a-brac, very carefully arranged. Volunteers and the 4 employees of the association who manage the place are there to help customers. But here, we learn to do it ourselves, to save money but also for the planet.

The workshop operates 3 afternoons per week and is open to members of the association for 20 euros per year. Upstairs, we take care of reconditioning computers, which are then resold at unbeatable prices.

Workshops for shoes and clothing

This trend has also extended to shoes and clothing. These workshops exist throughout France as in Lorient (Morbihan), where Véronique tours the surrounding villages. HAS Cayenne (Guyana), it is possible to have your old sneakers repaired with the help of Alex.
